Pick your brain

Choose Arduino Uno for C++ or NodeMCU for MicroPython and Wi-Fi experiments.

Make a path

Signal pin goes to a resistor, then the LED long leg. The short leg returns to GND.

Keep it comfy

A 220 Ω resistor limits current to about 14 mA with a 5 V board and red LED.
